We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated, independent, professional individual to prospect and sell our full line of equipment and supplies to cover our North East California Territory.

Job Summary:
In this position you will prospect and sell our full line of equipment and supplies to agencies, municipalities & contractors in one of our Northern California territories. Sales objectives will be met or exceeded by promoting equipment and accessories through the use of professional sales techniques, consultative selling and demonstrations. This position reports to the Branch manager.
Other job duties:
- Must be able to travel overnight, as necessary, and be able to attend all trade shows and sales meetings 8 to 10 nights per year.
- Identifying new prospects, and marketing products within the assigned sales territory
- Complete and deliver all required paperwork, expense reports, sales pipelines, forecasts, and contracts as requested by management
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Make quality prospect calls each week, in person and over the phone
- Perform excellent follow-up for all stages and aspects of the sales cycle
- Must have strong skills and be very comfortable with cold calls both over the phone & in person
- Must either have a valid CDL license or willing to get one within the first month of employment
- Must be a strong team player and be willing to produce win/win results with both customers and co-workers.

Must have a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals/quotas. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Company vehicle, laptop computer and cell phone will be provided. Excellent earning opportunity with base salary plus commission.
- Minimum 2-3 yrs experience in Outside Sales with proven track record in exceeding performance objectives
- Excellent and proven communication skills (Written, Oral and Presentation)
- Effective and articulate interpersonal and human relations skills
- Strongly customer focused to promote customer satisfaction, resolution and loyalty
- Knowledge of government and municipal sales a plus
- Experience with environmental equipment and products a plus
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
