LITTER COLLECTION EQUIPMENT BYBarber Logo

Utilizing patented tine raking technology, BARBER has designed litter collection equipment for the safe and efficient removal of debris from grass and paved surfaces.

ROAD RAKE
H. Barber & Sons, Inc. has developed the Road Rake Model 200 litter collector, which is the safest, fastest, and most efficient means of removing large debris from roadways. Retreads, mufflers and other debris can be removed from the road surface without the operator leaving the safety of the vehicle.

HOW IT WORKS

The Barber Road Rake collects large road hazards: retreads, mufflers, wood and litter. It is designed to collect the large debris, which might clog or damage street sweepers.

Here's how it works.

The ROAD RAKE Model 200 uses caster tires to follow the contour of the pavement. Stainless steel tines are mounted on a bar flight conveyor. The tines lift and elevate the unwanted debris to the hopper, which can be hydraulically raised and dumped. Two gutter brushes on either side of the machine pull material in front of the tines. The Model 200 is operated electronically by one person from the cab of the towing unit.

APPLICATIONS

Rubber Alligators
The Barber Road Rake is designed to work on any paved surface to remove debris such as tire retreads, mufflers, hubcaps, cardboard, wood, paper, cans and litter.
Road Rake Gutter
The Barber Road Rake is specifically designed to remove large debris that usually requires human labor. It is a safe and efficient way to remove large debris from roadways, parks, parking lots, bridges, after automobile accidents and along curbs and Jersey barriers.
Road Rake Garbage
The Road Rake is often used ahead of conventional street sweepers to remove the large debris, which might damage or jam the sweepers.
